Vintage Miami has a new look and it’s in Hackney, east London
Ever seen those pink coffee cups with green palm leaves on Instagram? Well if you haven’t then you need to spend more time following Instagram worthy accounts and if you have then you’re looking at Palm Vaults coffee.
I fell in-love with the place when I realised everything is pink, well most things. Pink chairs from the ’70s, marble tables in pink tones, pink crockery, pink lattes, pink water jars and so on. Basically my kind of place.
Kathy (from Kathology) and I met there for brunch/lunch. Kath had the rose cappuccino and acai bowl, which tasted as good as it looked. The bowl was so big she actually had to take it as a takeaway smoothie.
I had the white and red velvet hot chocolate with the s’mores toastie. The hot chocolate was great and I enjoyed the meal but wouldn’t order it again because it was very ‘bread-y’ (if that isn’t a word it is now).
The Palm Vaults’ menu features a lot of drink options, which are quite adventurous so definitively try a few. The cakes on display are decorated with different pink elements (yay), but if you’re looking for a more filling breakfast or lunch there’s lots to choose from. They also cater to vegans and vegetarians if that’s your vibe.
It’s not a big space so it does get quite full. We got there around 12pm and it got very busy around 2pm. They do take bookings but only over the weekend.
Follow Palm Vaults here.

We then did some exploring around east London, finding street art along the way. There’s so much on every corner it makes deciding where to take pictures a bit challenging. Haha..
