Pop of colour

It’s rainy, it’s cold, it’s cloudy, it’s Cape Town. So I added a pop of colour to my fight-the-miserable-weather outfit. I’ve always been told that because of my skin tone I can’t wear red clothes, my cheeks end up looking like tomatoes and it’s all down hill from there. But hey I love how much red stands out so I often go for red accessories and small other details.

I thought this parka jacket is quite cute with the leaf details and I love this shade of green because I feel as if anyone can pull it off. What’s also great is how the parka has draw strings inside that shape one’s body nicely, giving some curves to a wintery outfit as apposed to frumpy layers.

I also took them on a safari adventure earlier this year, they were ideal for cold night drives where skinny jeans aren’t as durable.
